Travel Arrangements Made

We will be leaving on Sunday, 2/7/10 and will arrive on 2/8/10.

We are trying to get the room in order and will most likely get the bed and chest-of-drawers this weekend. I am thinking of doing a beach theme, but will not make that decision until we get the child(ren) as we may end up doing two rooms.

Will try to keep the blog updated as we prepare to travel and as we go through the process.

Love,
R & T

Yeah! Do you have everything you need? Waiting till lift off is going to be very difficult, but you will be there soon! Praying for nice weather for you! God Bless!

I've been thinking about you guys. I would just purchase the necessaties (chest of drawers, etc) and let your little one/s decide upon returning home how they would like their room. That gives them a feeling of comfort/respect/and ownership (which may be a difficult issue to tackle). We saved up and went crazy with bedroom "personalization" for christmas that way we knew what the kids liked and could customize. It also gave them a couple huge presents under the tree which they LOVED!! Just a suggestion. Praying for your sanity during the next month. Keep us updated.

Thanks Conethia. We actually have a trundle/storage bed that my sister had at my Mom's for her middle son and a chest that they used as well. The only things I purchased are sheets, a duvet cover on when Linens & Things went out of business and a duvet. I did purchase a set of curtains, but don't even know if I am going to put them up until we get back.

If we do come home with two children, then we will have two rooms to do, but the trundle will hold us until we can purchase another bed.

How exciting! The fun part will be picking out the theme(s) with the little ones.

You (& your children) continue to be in my prayers. Don't worry about the room(s) right now. Take care of yourself & get rest - - while you can!
Blessings!
