One year ago today, in Nikolaev, Ukraine, we officially became a family of three. In our hearts, we became a family the day we met and fell in love with our son, but legally, the court date was 3-5-10. What an amazing day - presented by our God.
Our lives are forever changed. The Lord taught us so much, not only by allowing us to become parents, but also by our journey. Our faith brought us through the difficult times and ultimately to our son.
Our hearts are forever changed with a passion for the orphans of Ukraine. Tim tells of how he was never comfortable around those with disabilities, but God changed that in Ukraine.
Today we ask that you support the orphans. Please see our blog post about the three boys who lost their families. The two older boys were supposed to be adopted with sweet Vera - for whom we recently advocated. But, their family was unable to complete the process. Sweet Vera now has a home and these boys need one as well!
